microtel palawan sunrise

the beach of Microtel Palawan is itself a tourist spot because of the mangroves in its beach line. since the hotel is facing East, the sunrise will come right infront of this beach. so i set the alarm to 4:30am.
woke up that early with an all dark view from our veranda. along with ironwulf, we headed towards the beach which was just a short walk away from the hotel. in fact it's just right infront of the structure.
good that most of the time, the beach front is at low tide. this gave us flexibility to set up our tripods over the fine sand beach and move to some good spot. we didn't wait too long as the horizon was turning dark blue.
waking up that early didn't disappoint us. with the mangrove trees as silhouette, you won't find a hard time finding your favorite spot. indeed a picture perfect beach under a beautiful sunrise what more by day.
these mangroves kept well the treasures of a good shoreline adding to the fact that three quarters of tropical shorelines around the world are dominated by mangroves. this makes this beach still look exotic.
you won't end up visiting some of the great spots around the resort. among the best spots are the areas where a small amount of water is trapped during low tide. plus the outdoor pool just right beside the dining area and on the other side the beach.
during the weekend when we were there, the hotel was fully booked yet i didn't feel that the place was crowded. match this great view with the hammocks and you'll love it here. if you'll like the hotel by night, much more by day.
for those interested, it is highly recommended that you book ahead as Microtel Palawan has no off peak season as it is usually spared from the typhoons.

parang naimagine ko yung progression nung mula sa madilim tapos pasikat na yung araw tapos yan umaga na and mas nagiging visible na ang mga bagay-bagy....and the pool with the mangroves around/beside it....kakaiba yan.

Great shots! i love especially the sand pattens, parang desert! It's good not any plastic rubbish was visible. In other mangrove areas of the country, tutulo luha mo sa hinayang!
