just right after work, just dropped by the house to pick up my packed bag for another backpack trip. this time to one of my favorite Southeast Asian country, Vietnam. our goal was to taste the flavors of Saigon and look back at the remains of the Indochina War.we took the late night schedule from Manila to Vietnam's largest and historical city, Ho Chi Minh. from a planned trip of seven friends down to three determined travelers that includes Nadz, Melissa and i. landed at the country's largest and modern gateway Tan Son Nhat International Airport after about an estimated two and half hour flight. no hassle when checking out. thanks to the airport's efficient service.had our dollars partially converted at the airport for our taxi fee. it's easy to take a cab but warning... you must know how to pronounce your hotel correctly and show a map of the place or else you'll end up going to another place. our Saigon adventure begins here.
Oh waited so long for your HCM's photos..lol. I exchanged my currency at the Post Office. Their rate is good but the rate at an exchange currency shop near Benh Tahn Market is so much better. Looking forward to seeing your other photos of HCM.
Coolio. I want to travel to different places a lot, too. Ho chi minh is one of the places that I want to visit. I hope I'd have an opportunity to go there ^^
This is so exciting. I will definitely stay tuned for updates on this trip. Remember take pics :) esp the underground tunnels etc if u have a chanz. I have read abt them but never actually seen them in pics
Wow traveling. Familiar sakin yung ho shi minh, i thought it's in china, vietnam pala. I wish i can really travel. Taste the foods of differemt people. Have you tried korean foods?I think they're cool.
this place reminded me of dubai airport, it seemed i was just standing on the new terminal of dubai airport, the same type of counters and roads, very nostalgic it was looking at these pictures
