the first stop requires few steps uphill which leads you to a small house surrounded by a garden and a man-made mini-pond. you won't realize that it is a shop of organic soaps and ointments as it looks more like an abode for someone who loves ornaments.

estimated time from Puerto Princesa town center: 30mins
[2] Mitra's Ranch
long way up to another hill leads you to a viewpoint of the Sulu sea and a part of Honda bay. one of Palawan's most influential person used to have this as his vacation house and home to some of his horses.

estimated time from Puerto Princesa town center: 20mins
[3] Baker's Hill
a place that looks so much like a shop in Tagaytay where one can buy some pasalubong. choose a spot around the area and a good place to relax while you try their newly-cooked serve-hot ube hopias. did i say it's just P40 for ten pieces?
estimated time from Puerto Princesa town center: 20mins

Love the facial expression of the dog at the top of the stairs. ;)
Looking forward to the rest of this series. Been to Palawan several times already but never to Puerto Princesa.
Mitra's Ranch is the most interesting to me. :)
stop over palang ito...ganda!
buti pa si dogie sarap ng upo at pagbantay...:)
dude, i lived in puerto for a year, i haven't been to lawiswis. where is that? btw, mitra's ranch and baker's hill are nice places to run to! haha stunning view of honday bay from the ranch. the peacock and ostrich at baker's hill are amazing too!
i like your photo of the wind chime. i missed Lawiswis when i was in Puerto Princesa.
This place looks ideal for a retreat. Looking forward for more photos here.
looks likje this is a financially prosperous area
Love the face of the dog, too. What a neat place. Thanks for taking us along!
Aloha Dom! Free ba yung entrance sa Mitra's ranch or may bayad? if meron, how muchos?
wonderful captures again, dom.
i particularly like your photo of that wind chime. was it bamboo or wood? looks like bamboo to me.
i wish to go to palawan too one day. my late maternal lola was from puerto princesa and she gave birth there to my mom like 58 years ago. my parents and grandparents had been there several times but they left us at home wondering what's on that part of luzon.
pls don't tell me this was another sponsored event, because if it was, which it seemed, i'm green in envy again. =)
Look like three nice places to relax and hide from the madding crowd. Sometimes I wish I could be away to a nice place where no one can find me...lol.
mahusay talaga! ang ganda ng detailed ng bawat shot. nakakuha ako ng tips, as always!
when i saw the dog in your first photo, kala ko si panda na.. Yun pala ang Mitra's Ranch. I remember his ad when he ran for pres., kelan nga ba yun? tagal na..:)
Sarap naman magrelax sa Lawiswis! tsk! galing ng mga shots mo ever!
I was taken by the organic soap store. I could linger there forever.
wooow! sobrang ganda ng pics sa mitra's ranch kuya dong. kaya gustong-gusto ko talaga makapunta sa palawan eh.
Way so beautiful place!
I also like the photo with the dog. Three really nice and relaxing places. Thanks for sharing!
ang linaw ng kuha.. wahhh ang ganda. :)
