waling waling night buffet - boracay
Boracay's night life made it the country's liveliest party beach island. the flat vast sand beach transforms into a platform of night events after the sun sets. tables pop on large areas infront of music bars, soft loft seats over the sands and people crowding on barbecue stands plus the many eat-all-you-can offer along the busy station two. yet one can still experience a sound and filled-tummy evening with Waling Waling's dinner buffet. located in station one, few meters away from Willy's rock. they offer a tasty dinner buffet and a nice beach setting. good variety of food offered in tables around a semi-private area. seafood, pasta and some usual pinoy food along with an acoustic band. then came a lengthy yet great performance of the fire dancers.one to two dancers came in once in a while and even made their way to the diners exhibiting their talent. fire poi twirling is quite popular in the island of Boracay, which originated from the Maori people of New Zealand.the beautiful cottages each with a hammock caught my attention the most in this place. so relaxing but the night didn't end without a set of fireworks which brightened the night. after that heavy meal, we dropped by the busy station two for an extended time together.i though and two other went ahead back to Alta Vista de Boracay as i made a schedule for a massage from the resort's Palazza Spa. from the many choice of massage, i chose the resort's special offer of an hour and a half Palazza massage. ended pass twelve midnight. just perfect after a an almost sleepless night. not my usual trip of this party island beach.

thanks for the info about waling-waling.will definitely try this one as well (including the parasailing!)
I hope to see Boracay with the man behind the lens someday.
love the fire poi twirling pics!!!
nakakagutom yung mga pagkain...
I lo the pics with the poi dancers, they are so cool. I miss Boracay now, and am wishing i can save much for us to go back there.
i somehow miss bora ang init kasi.. are they the boracay phoenix fire dancers? i met them last year when i went there.
we also tried those affordable dinner buffet in station 2 months ago. nothing beats freshest seafoods.
ok, i'm officially missing food in the island.
amazing captures, especially the fire dancers... what a spectacular night!!!
oh man, i envy you for the massage.:p i usually stay in Station 1, and waling waling is a suki. these fire dancers are amazing!
1.5 hours of massage sounds divine. i think the nightlife is really happening.
fire dancers are so cool! hopefully i could get back there soon! i miss boracay
You've described that fantastic night with very beautiful photos.
I like so much the images of the fire dancers.
Boracay na boracay! hehehehehhehe
Those dances are amazing, and the food is so beautifully presented. Surely, a paradise!
pareho kami ni gillboard, nagustuhan yung kuha sa nagaapoy na ikot ng lampara.;)
the fire dance is awesome
What a nice place to unwind and dine
Ang galing ng kuha mo doon sa "fire dancers", donG. Ilang segundo ang shutter speed na ginamit mo?
I've never had a chance to catch the fire dancers. Sana next time. Nagttransform into another face ang Bora pag gabi 'no? =)
a massage is the most relaxing indulgence I always enjoy. Back in those days in 1998, a massage right on the beach in Boracay was 150 pesos. I wonder how much it cost now?
this is what I have known you first...yung mga panalong night shots na ganyan. I think this is what you do best...ito bang mga shots na to naka-tripod ka? kasi hirap kuha ng night shots kahit dslr pa....
yeah, not the usual Doms. nagpapa-spa! love it! hihi
how mush buffet sa Waling Waling?
there's always something with your post.. nakaka-gulat lahat ng shots mo. galing talaga!!
grabeee sa ganda ang photos mo ng fire!
The parasailing photos are lovely too, but because maybe there's a lot of them in one sheet, i can't open the whole photos, they just turned Xs, unopened, and took a very long time! thanks.
sa hindi ko lang gusto sa bora ay ang gastos
bawat galaw mo, pera
Wow what a beautiful place. I loved those photos. Especially the fire dancing. I hope i can go there too. Thanks for posting
