we thought we were done with lunch but just a walk from Serendra to Bonifacio High Street Ivan led us to next stop, the famous American food chain [TGI Fridays]. though i was almost full, i did tried a piece of Fridays Triple Chicken Platter which included Buffalo Wings. Ivan shared facts about the Fridays being the restaurant that brought the idea of bottomless iced tea and the popular singing waiters and waitress for birthday celebrants.a winning performance by the 2007 TGI Fridays bartender exhibition champion was a surprise to the foodies. the wine bottle runs from his shoulders and thrown upwards at a speed - it was impressive.what else can best be served after that heavy meal, a walk inside a toy shop to taste [Yohgurt Froz'] healthy yogurt. one has the choice of the classic Fro-Yo, with non-fat, low calorie and no preservatives or the original Fro-Yo served plain with toppings of your choice.toppings of my choice - mango, peach and blueberry among the long list of fruits. i'm a fan of Fro-Yo, so don't be surprised to see me in one of [Hobbes and Landes] shops savoring all the other toppings.to at least counter what we've had during the day, we walked a bit farther at The Fort to savor [Pizzato] special sea food pizza and pasta. i believe i ate the most during our stop here.looking at the time, i thought it was our last stop but i was wrong. just few steps is [The Establishment] a fine dining restaurant which served us a six course oriental meal. i didn't resist to taste a bit of each.i declare that afternoon - a great gluttonous day! special thanks to Ivan Man Dy of Old Manila Walks for the invite and to Bonifacio Global City's Passion Fest 2010 for a great food event.
Wow good food and fun. The ice cream reminds me of the first time I had ice cream with avocado in Manila...the first time I ever ate avocado in my first trip overseas by plane.
Whew, nakakagutom ang last two posts na ito... Naglaway ako...
Now, that made me wonder in two ways - you are so blessed to have connections in these kinds of events... and why am I not hearing this kind of stuff here in cebu?
*joke*
