everyone definitely has their own experience of mishaps and unexpected situations during a trip. i myself confess that many times, i too had to cancel or change some itineraries or routes while traveling.
here comes ROAM magazine's tribute to those experiences - the "Misadventure Diaries". this third issue includes stories of their experience of spelunking in the great caves of Samar and the extreme Danao challenge in Bohol.
the magazine's third issue launch at the Recreational Outdoor Exchange (ROX) at the Bonifacio High Street was jam packed with cool bands and fun time with other travelers.
it was also good to see the gutsy roamers again, remembering our Pugadlawin adventure in Batangas with the ROAM's coolest tandem Upper and Jan. the sumo fight, the swimming pool activities that made us felt like we were five years old, and my favorite the mudslide.

misadventure? hmm. last na nangyari sa akin eh nung nagpunta ako ng KL from SG. nagbus lang kami at nakarating ng KL ng 4am! the sad thing is, puro singapore dollar money namin. wala kaming ringgit! nakalimutan magpapalit sa sg. money changer will open by 10am. waaah. kamusta naman. we need to wait more than 6 hours. gutom na gutom na kami kaso wala kaming pambili. haha.

Is Roam magazine delivered internationally? That's a fun event for adventure junkies!
I got the invite but on the eve of the event day itself and I had to attend to other matters. But congratulations to Roam. I hope they'll come out more regularly now, with the new publisher and new office for 2010.

In fairness naman talaga, maganda ang mga nakasulat sa ROAM mag. Nung first issue nga nila, may sketch pa si Manix Abrera on one of the pages. Galing!
Paano ba maging contributor? Yung ROAM mag ko nawala eh, may humiram siguro. Hehe.

kung sa alak, tumatagal lalong sumasarap. bongga naman ang launch ng roam ng ika 3 issue nila. well, hindi yan dito available kaya isa lang ang meron ako yung binigay mo na first issue.
This is actually a good travel magazine. Bought a copy about 3 weeks ago. :)
