piyesta and its kurat sticks

until now, Kurat sticks just can't get out of my mind and i've been trying to look for this in Manila. having hopes that i'll find this somewhere.after a tiring trip from coco beach in Gumasa in Sarangani province, we traveled back to Gensan. met with other bloggers from Davao and Gensan again and had dinner at Lagao Mak's barbecue station.but we made sure that we won't miss dropping by Piyesta restaurant because of it is owned by a blogger and online friend Dona Mae Congson. our host couple Sheng and Kyaw joined us. we ordered mango shake but Dona offered us one of their specialty, the Kurat sticks.at first look, it is like an ordinary fried lumpia or a cheese stick but not when you closely look at it. it's actually a green pepper covered with a lumpia wrapper. i then expected it to be so spicy but it isn't.it tasted just right a bit spice and a bit of a typical fried lumpia. tasted so good that until now i'm still craving for it. something that i highly recommend apart from the other special dishes in their menu. thanks to Dona Mae Congson for the Kurat sticks and for including a photo of our visit there in their new menu cover. Piyesta KTV and Resto bar is at the ground level of Robinson's mall General Santos City.

l'll take a mental note of kurat sticks from now on. Haven't tried that. Sana meron ding ganyan sa Binondo para medyo malapit lang.

Saw your blog comment in my recent post, as much as I want to meet up with blogger pals, 1 week was too short. :( Don't worry, I'll be home again this December.
