bgc food tour passion fest 2010
sweet cupcakes, tasty Vietnamese delicacies, buffalo wings, yogurt feast and italian Pizza consumed in just four hours?!! a gluttonous day with my favorite food guide Ivan Man Dy.last weekend was a big treat for some bloggers and the other foodies as we were invited to Bonifacio Global City's food tour, which was part of the Passion Fest 2010. our first stop was at [Cupcakes by Sonja] for a cupcake fiesta where we had five sorts of cupcakes all served in bite size. choco cream pie, melt-in-your-mouth flourless chocolate cupcake, vanilla sunshine, red velvet vixen, chocolate overload all served at the perfect size for us to try each variance. let me say that my favorite is the red velvet vixen.it was quite unusual to start a food tour with dessert but let me say that i liked it that way. in the first place i'm a dessert person. our next stop was just a wall away [Ms. Desserts]. home to some of the best cakes in the city. the soft and so tasty lemon cake was perfect!our next stop, [Zao Vietnamese Bistro] still in Serendra. next to loving Japanese cuisine i go for the savory Viet food. so this will definitely not disappoint me. first to be served was the Zao pho, flank, brisket, fishballs, tendons and rice noodles!followed by Zao Satay platter, crispy spring rolls and my favorite fresh rolls with shrimps pork noodles, bean sprouts, greens and peanut dipping sauce.that was just the first part of this... more stops in the coming posts. so are you ready to join the next batch of foodies with Ivan Man Dy? be there this Saturday on a first come first serve basis 1:00pm at concierge booth Bonifacio High Street B8. i won't be able to join you as i'll be in Boracay this weekend. enjoy the food trip! enjoy Bonifacio Global City's Passion Fest!

mouth watering! I love the look of those cakes...and ooooh, spring rolls and dimsum!
Hahaha, I love this post. Desserts galore. I think just by looking at the photos, I too would choose the red velvet cupcake.
I LOVE Vietnamese food, but somehow ZAO doesn't do it for me. I don't know if this is the same ZAO that we have out here, may be not.
i should've not visited your site for that much needed surprise. i'm going to this free food fest tomorrow; so glad ivan counted me in.
i've tried those sonja's cupcakes their really fancy sweet!
waaaah late notice hmph! i want to go!!! kaso i have work huhuhu! *sad face*
Wow the food looks so yummy. Love the cupcakes but not all the cream on top of it.
Those cupcakes look really delicious! Like seriously, but I don't really like those layered with coloring. Naturally colored cupcakes will do fine :)

hehehe i really love macro shots... hehehe sarap ng mga nakikita ko, nakakagutom tuloy... heheheh hai...
thanks for dropping by at my site though... and for appreciating my shots... hehehe mwuah!

i enjoy dining at Zao. the cup cakes look tempting--now i'm glad i was not in this food tour.:p
I've read about this event. I'm sure you had a fantastic time. I suddenly miss those yummy cupcakes by Sonja.
Too bad I can't take advantage of tomorrow's tour.
The satay over there looks slightly different from my country.
All of that looks delicious!

wow!!! sarap, naglaway ako sa mga cup cakes..
a walking tour for foodies with delightful free food? I'm sure restaurant owners are too happy to give out samples for that free advertisement in return.
I love Zao! And how is Ms. Dessert's lemon bars? I love them, but only when they're tart enough for that "goosh" in your salivary glands during the first bite. :)
I WAAANT! Sarap naman ng tour na yan. :)
