we traveled back to Davao from Gensan by dawn to catch up our schedule for the white water rafting. with just few hours of sleep, it didn't bore our spirit for adventure.from Davao, one has to travel for about 45mins to one hour to the drop off point of the white water rafting. one can sleep along the way as there's not much to see. when we reached the Baguio district of the Davao province, we brought down our vests and helmets which were handed to us early on. we had a short orientation along with another group who'll be on the other raft. on our raft, four of us along with travel buddies Roj and Rob, who are also from Manila. we were combined to maximize the number of people in the raft and to assure balance and right weight.this was the last set of photos that i took since we have to leave all our things in the jeepney, whihc is safe as they have people to secure our things. good that Jonee, brought his underwater camera and with the group's official photographer, we need not to worry for those wild action shots.we were just there to enjoy. now we were all set and ready.

This was what I missed doing when I went home to Davao last year. I hope El Nino didn't lessen the thrill offered by the river.
It's really fun to see photos of rafting, but my lack of swimming know-how scratches this activity for me.
