one torturous road trip
the tricycle driver said, "dalawa dalawa lang po ang sakay" meaning only two persons should occupy each tricycle, comparing the ones in Manila where a tricycle can carry five people. from there i wondered what kind of road was ahead of us. right after a our last stop, Bangui's wind farm we again rode a bus to the nearby town of Burgos. drop by a small shop and bought some chips and cold softdrinks to quench the thirst. from here, we have to take a tricycle ride to the drop off point off to Kapurpurawan rock formation. our last stop in this Ilocos coastal adventure.my worst tricycle ride was this trip. can't even remember the number of times i hit the sides of the tricycle. one would really think that this place that we're going should be worth this torturous road trip.i don't have photos of parts where it was really rough as we kept our heads safe. after about 20minutes of that trip, we finally saw the beautiful coast and a part of what we were here for.the Philippines will have a long weekend break starting tomorrow as we go and visit some of our dearly departed.

20 minute-tricycle ride seems really loooong but i guess it was all worth the humps and bumps with that breathtaking view.
i wouldn't mind the trip kung ganyan ka serene ng view... like i said naaalala ko NZ sa mga pics na to. miss ko na Wellington!!!
May I know how much ang charge ng tricycle driver?
Adds life when you travel...those are pretty tough roads.
di pala pwede ang buntis dito---makukunan!:P
this reminds me of my habal-habal [mis]adventure in Sibulan.
I wonder if one can reach the place by foot.
Have a safe Undas.
Your nice images well describe that rough road. The landscape is beautiful!
My gosh, extra challenge yan! Pero exciting at the same time. If I'd go there, iisipin ko na lang while riding the trike that "the best is yet to come". =)
buti nkaya ng tricycle hahahaha pero sulit naman dahil sa majestic views! tc
I hope the tricycle manage to reach the destination..somehow its look powerful & extreme like 4WD.
Ei? Torture nga! I bet sumakit katawan mo..
Di ba mas madali kung lalakarin kahit gaano kalayo? But man, the view..
Probably it'll be one of your unforgettable road trips..Hahaha!
grabe namang daan yan. dapat nangabayo ka nalang. hehe
email me again your details and i will send the western union CTN.
Even an all terrain vehicle will have a tough time negotiating this road
That was some journey! Is that last shot a foot path? Wow. But the destination is worth it.
May you have a blessed All Saints Day.
Ouch! Ang sakit sa katawan. Did the tricycle also go down those steps? Joke lang! :)
wow that's a wonderful trip huh
i wonder how relazing it was when you're there
sometimes its better to go to same places like that to relives all the stress from your heavy works
than ks for sharing dong
the more strenuous it is to go to the place, the sweeter the feeling be once you get there! :)
just going there itself is quite an adventure with this ride
gorgeous scenery, but the road is gnarly!
Happy Halloween, donG!
Torturous road trip indeed!
Pero, with those beautiful sceneries captured by your camera, it's more than worth it :D
Have a happy and safe long weekend ahead...
hindi ka ba na-baby-shaken syndrome nyan? hehe. baka may nahulog na turnilyo. you need to double check.
looking forward to thwe rock formations na. haba pala ng series na to ah. hehe.
Yours is another adventurous road trip via tricycle to get into another great destination. Next time you get there, they might have improved the road.
at the end of rough road is a magnificent view. i think i should bring helmet with me. anyways, it's worth it naman! nakakabighani ang ganda.. haayy..
I love adventure!!
