the North of Luzon island has so much in store for backpackers, whether it would be historical landmarks or great scenic views. given a short period of time over a long weekend, i decided to just focus on the great coastal sights.
hopping from one part of the coast to the other was a bit challenging but traveling along with some of my travel buddies scud, lawstude, lantaw, jonee and fhei made it one of my most memorable trip this year.
join us as we feature Ilocos Norte in the norte series. photos here were taken when the sun was rising over a moody morning.

Moody it is. Especially what happened to them. Because of the greed of a few, Mother Nature punish us all.

I answered your question yesterday in my post today. ;)
Be very glad if you weren't there. They announced that the event was at 5pm but it actually started 7:45!! Needless to say, we older folks got mighty pissed off.
Just read Dennis' comment. You were there? Sayang we didn't meet you. I was looking for Dennis after to introduce myself but didn't see him either.
