something positive. nice

There are other capital cities that actually are more chaotic than Manila but the bad reputation it gets is usually generated by bad local and syndicated news reporting.

How colorful! I rarely see jeepneys as colorful as this. :)

It's good CNN picked up the better side of Manila. Tama nga naman. We may not be as well maintained as Singapore, but we have something to offer that others can not -- a wild urban jungle. Hehe.

I always love the jeep. They are so well decorated. Do they still decorate the jeep with horses? I remember during my last trip in the 80s, the local guide told us the horses represented the driver's wife. If the jeep has two horses meant the driver has two wives, is it true? I think he is joking about it cause I spotted one jeep has 7 horses...lol.

evidently, SARAO JEEPNEY is one of a kind and indeed one the Philippines significant landmark! "CHAOTIC CHARM" seems to be a interesting words. Thus, this tagline connotes something to look forward to while experiencing the chaotic charm of MANILA!

I remember Details and Wallpaper doing a feature on the Philippines a couple of years back. If you look beyond the filth and the pollution, Manila's pretty cool. I went to CCP the other day. God, it's so beautiful there. =)

Very interesting. I hope your photos can be definitely recovered.

You know what would make riding the jeepney more fun, less pollution. My wife and I commuted a short distance via jeepney last Thurday (no use using the car when the streets are flooded) and I can barely breathe.

Siguro sobrang promdi lang ako. Sa amin kasi kahit naka dyip ka ok kasi presko yung hangin.

namiss ko tuloy ung jeep namen, kaso nabenta na e.

Is it just me or the Philippines has been getting a lot of attention lately? Anthony Bourdain came over, so did Bobby Chin. I've seen the Philippines get featured a few more times in the Discovery Channel too. Then now CNN. Finally!!
