go to a place and get lost! that's something you can do this summer. there's this team of writers who just travel to places around the world to discover some of the wildest cultures. the Get Lost team.
i have been collecting travel magazines, from the local ones to the ones published globally. yet i always look up to this magazine entitled Get Lost!. it is published quarterly in Australia. and because i really like it, i emailed the editor last year to extend my deep appreciation for making such a very cool magazine for travelers who's always on the go.
after a few months, the magazine's editor Tamara Caddy emailed me and informed me that my letter was published on issue 19 of Get Lost! magazine. i was surprised! but it didn't end there, because of that, i too received a book entitled A Year of Festivals by the Lonely Planet.
so just last week, i received a copy of the magazine, where my letter was published, the book, and a special note from Tamara. i am then, extending my gratitude to the Get Lost! team for this. check out their website at www.getlostmag.com.i'll make a review of the book A Year of Festivals on a separate post.note: this magazine already featured the Philippines in its previous issues. but it is not yet being distributed in the Philippines, so I just get my copies through a friend in Australia and i will be subscribing soon.

The idea of getting lost somewhere really excites me. Parang nakakakaba because wala ka sa comfort zone mo pero masaya din kasi you get to experience something new. Basta wala lang criminal elements eh ok ako na mawala din.
