the contest yesterday was exciting but no one got it right. majority answered Miagao church or the Sto Tomas de Villanueva in Miagao, Iloilo which i featured months back (click here).
but this one was not taken from the actual church structure. this is a replica of that church which was constructed inside the clamshell tent of Wow Philippines in Intramuros. 
i used it in the contest because i was quite impressed with the replica. but i also expected that no one will be able to guess it simply because nobody might have had the chance to visit the clamshell tent in Intramuros last December. 
so i collected all the names who answered "Miagao church in Iloilo or Sto Tomas de Villanueva church" jumbled it and picked one.
the result is out and the small book Extra Rice, will go to 
Richard author of the blog Adventures of the Lionheart. congratulations and please send your complete address to i.dongho@gmail.com.

The church (the real thing) is very beautiful. I do think it's neat that they made a replica, but there is nothing like the real thing!
