just walk - boracay island

if you are not into water sports or any active activity, you can still enjoy the tropical island of Boracay. how can you do it? just walk.as the island is being flocked by a large number of both local and foreign tourists, a lot of business gained ground. from restaurants to beach shops, you'll find it there.walking within the central area of station 2 will lead you to the island's D'Mall. a mall that expands from the main beach area to Boracay's main road. dropping by those shops and looking at some of the items being sold is one popular activity in Boracay. in fact, a lot of people usually spend time strolling during noontime. the kids can enjoy the small ferris wheel found on the center of the mall area. one can buy shakes or juice drinks while walking.along the beach way, you'll enjoy looking at the different resorts and restaurants as well. at the end of the eastern side of station 2, one can also visit the D' Talipapa.you'll also see street vendors along the beach way selling fruits, miniature wooden boats, wooden crafts and even jewelries.all these makes this island very busy. so if you really want to spend time relaxing in this island, i should say that you stay on some of its remote beach resorts.

haay, i remember the days when life was not as complicated before that week's stay in bora.. just walking along the shore... hehe... matagal na akong di nakabisita sa blog mo kuya dong.. so busy.

I think the sand in bora is getting whiter and whiter through time. Have you tried scuba diving there Dom?.....I am just amazed where all those sands came from, it surely is because of rich coral reefs around the area. I wonder how diverse it is.......

takot kasi ako mag-scuba dive e....

I'm not much into Boracay because of its commercialization. I prefer most solemn places.

But your photos here made me want to go visit there again ;)

>hi ailee, you'll enjoy there. walking is one of the favorite activities in boracay.

>hi share, me too!

>jm, that's just one of the islands here. you still have to see 7,107 more.

>hi aquamarine, me too. exploring an island or a place makes me really excited. specially when it's my first time to be in that place.one of the best islands to explore is capones.

>borneo, yes. you'll definitely enjoy.

"I think the sand in bora is getting whiter and whiter through time.">>> i'm not sure.

>hi rachel, you're right. the beach alone already has about 4kilometers plus the shopping areas. a weekend there will not be enough.

>hi em, same with me. walking in boracay is one of the best activity.

>phivos, true!

>hi chyng, maraming maraming salamat. yon din talaga ang goal ng mga posts dito. i wanted the readers to experience the place upclose.

>hi aracir, a lot of people prefer to go to semi-private beaches because they usually want a private time with their family.

>oman, hehehe... ganun nga ang mga byahero.

>hi hilda, when i was there, it was during the off peak season. so i cant say how crowded it can be during peak season. i believe it can be as busy as puerto galera and maybe even busier.

>sidney, you're right. if you just really explore the island, you'll have a good reason to visit despite its commercialization. thanks sid.

>miong, sakto bai!

>gillboard, hehehe... i recommend that one should really see it. lalo na pag pinoy ka kasi ang daming na eenganyong dayuhan na pumunta doon.

>alicesg, hahaha... a lot of people seem to do that.

>rajesh, you should. you'll definitely enjoy.

>tr3nta, its just along the beach way and part of the mall area. but the beach is really wide.

>hi cutemom, me too even though i was there just a month ago.

>hi carver, walking will allow you to freely enjoy every view of the island.

>tikno, yes. this is one way of helping our country's tourism.

To maintain the allure of Boracay, here's hoping they won't allow this beautiful resort to be converted into a heavily commercial area. For instance, sana walang structure ng ferris wheel sa Boracay. For me, it's an eye sore.
