Balaring: food tripping

one of the best place to eat seafood, with a view of the sea in Negros Occidental, is barangay Balaring. located on the coastal area of Silay City, which is about 35 to 40minutes away from Bacolod city.it is quite a long drive from the city and the sky was cloudy when we were driving our way there. when we reached the barangay, it rained hard. we were quite lucky because we reached the place before it rained. after some few minutes, sky was clear and it looked like it didn't rain. just in time for us to start eating Balaring's fresh seafood delicacies.the restaurants here are mostly made up of bamboo cottages standing above the shoreline. there are several restaurants here but we chose Tama Plaza because of its unique look from the other restaurants. their specialty includes the sea shell "talaba", squid, fishes and shrimps. who would not love that?

i love the ambiance. madaming makikita sa paligid habang nag-iintay ng order. so you were also in Bacolod (juz like Ferdz and the gang). not same trip, i guess. i should be in Bacolod too. been there a long time ago and new surroundings always take half the fun off my memories.

nice looking huts. I love the red painted bamboo posts :) Is this close to a fishpond?

>hi rayts, no. i was not with ferdz, oggie and erick. they were here weeks back. bumisita ka ulit kasi dami nang pwedeng puntahan doon ngayon.

just keep in tocuh for upcoming posts. siguradong ma eenganyo ka na bumalik sa bacolod.

>bw, it is by the sea. im not sure if there's a fish pond. most likely there are fish ponds in the area. i also like those huts.

>share, thanks a lot. it's good to know that you're back. sorry though because i dont have shots of the foods.

>hi carver, im sure you'll love the food there because they are fresh.

>photo cache, food is really something that you'll crave there because the place alone reminds you that the food is fresh.

>hi eye, that mural makes the place more attractive.

>hi eastcoastlife, place is simple yet the food really taste good.

>hi sandy, sorry for that. but im sure you'll have a nice meal within the day.

>r-yo, food is good there but its the view that also adds a good ambiance of the coastline.

>luke, its basically a simple restaurant made up of bamboos and woods located on the shorelines.

>tink, that surely adds color to the place.

>jasper, we were there for a business and family visit.

>hi shionge, exactly! the place alone already sets the ambiance of eating a lot.

>jericho, masarap talaga kumain doon.

>hi sandy, you're right! the view sets the mood to eat a lot.

Looks like a nice place to eat out. I like eating in cozy bamboo cottages especially if Filipino food is served.

>hi vanny, hehehe... naku mahirap yung ganyan kasi daming masarap na seafoods.

>pietro, thanks. im glad that you like places like this.

>salingpusa, same here. when we were there it rained so hard and wind was blowing hard too. but it didn't last long.

>hi equi, i hope that you can visit bacolod. there's a lot of place to visit there. for my travel, it's part of the business that i am planning plus the community that i am serving right now. sometimes it's personal and sometimes it's part of our service.
