dong'ho's byaheng nightscape 2.0 features photos taken at night or simply when the sun is down. dong first featured nightscape during the month of May. the photo used for the header was taken from the bonfire of our camp at Capones island.
the typhoon and the country's rainy season limits the chances of traveling. so for the meantime, dong ho will be in night mode. you can check out my May archive of nightscape.

Well good. night shots are great too. lovely campfire!
Great photo! I don't know why, but I love looking at photos of fire. Maybe because I can enjoy the beauty of the flames without the danger of being burnt?
glad your back to nightmode. this is one fantastic series with full of vibrant nocturnal shots. hope to see running lights and neons as well as interesting people in this series.
i am glad you featured our bonfire for your header kasi i feel that i am a part of your upcoming night series.

theres indeed magic at night! what???!!!
kahit ano basta dong shots, lahat kaabang abang.
how you manage your file of pictures?
>luke, thanks!
>hi karen, maybe because it represents the fire's active light and movements.
>lawstude, oo nga. kakamiss din nito pero mahirap din kung minsan. ayan bonfire nga natin yan. konti lang kuha ko nung gabing yon.
>wandering commutter, hehehe... meron nga ba?
>redlan, hehehe... salamat sa pag abang. tinatago ko lang mga old night shots. iniipon muna.
in this series, i'll even feature some old cebu night shots.
that's makes you warm lalo na pag malamig dyan.
i like the theme for this month.
aymsoeksayted. ayjaskanhaydit.

Naman! Ang ganda! Sarap mag bonfire. Romantic! herherher
wow, there's something about fire that's alluring, especially when darkness is around. so i'm just like a firefly roaming around your page, ready to get burn. ;)
nice post!
looking forward to this new series...
uhm, one must have really high definition cameras to have a great shot. mejo mahirap na subject.
Having typhoons now? So that means no school for the kids. :)
Night time is more interesting than daytime, as far as many visual artists are concerned.
It readily provides the mood. :)
Nice shot.
>nanaybelen, tama po kayo dyan.
>islander, hindi ko alam kung kasama yon. depende na sa magiging lakad ko sa gabi. hehehe... salamat sa pag abang lagi.
>r-yo, sarap talaga lalo na pag may bagyo. hehehe...
>hi iriz, that's cute. because when we were in the island, four things lights up; our bonfire, the flashlights, the lightning and the fireflies coming in groups.
>jasper, salamat!
>hi chyng, not necessarily although having a good camera will give you better options. better opportunites. medyo mahirap nga lang talaga ang subject. thanks for dropping by.
>hi eastcoastlife, when there's typhoon, classes are usually suspended but for an ordinary rainy day, it's not necessary except for some areas.
>carlo, thanks! the lights are really amazing at how it can set a mood of the photo at night.

night shots are far more challenging whatever way you see it.
Uy! I like this. Nightscape ang una kong nakita when I first visited your blog.
Nice shot of the campfire. It must be scary to be on an island with no streets lamps, etc. When I was in Guilin, China many many years ago, it was so dark at night with not many street lamps, the huge mountain in front of us looked like a huge black monster in front of us. It was so scary.
>hi sandy, thanks!
>hi lei, salamat! kakamiss talaga ang mga camping nung kabataan pero pwedeng pwede pa rin namang magcamp lalo na pag umaakyat ng bundok.
not sure if i'll be able to feature some overlooking shots. sana. moon and stars. possibly.
>hi shawie, oo nga. pero magagawa mo pa rin yon. set a reunion in a beach. saya talaga mag kwentuhan sa campfire.
>hi tina, intriguing and interesting. a lot of things happens at night.
>hi ifoundme, taga bacolod ka ba or iloilo? yes. nandyan ako sa september. hope to see you there.
>hi doc rio, yes. sa capones pa rin yan.
>hi nyl, daming kwento doon. yon yung masaya sa camping.
>hi em, i hope that you'll enjoy the series.
>yffar, okay. no problem. adding you in a while.
>pietro, thanks for always keeping in touch.
>selerines, thanks!
>r2k, keep in touch. i know who you are.
>tink, thanks! keep in touch.
>hi rayts, you're right. it's also difficult to look for a subject and the danger is there too.
>hi tentay, oo medyo gumanda ang panahon. yan pangarap ko din talaga pumunta ng camiguin. update kita kung makakapunta ako dun.
>kegler, tagal na pala nun. may pa yung unang nightscape. thanks for keeping in touch.
>hi alicesg, it was not scary because we were ten in the group. thunder and lightning made the night more special.
that experience in china could have been scary. specially when you're in a place outside of our country.
i'm from bacolod..
oh wow! your night shots are great--sets the mood.
