night camp

night camp are truly rewarding. it builds camaraderie from a casual conversation. from jokes to some serious thoughts it all boils down to building a stronger friendship.among my favorite night camps in the past two years are as follows:
1. night camp at the crater of Mt. Pinatubo (March 2006) - the whole night, we were talking and every line from each of us always ends up in laughter.
2. night camp at Mt. Gulugod (June 2006) - we were 41 in the group so you can imagine how big our circle was occupying a large flat area.3. night camp in Bantayan island (May 2008) - was definitely the most silent night camp yet it was also soothing as very few people were on the beach shore. no lights on the beach line except for the lights from the cottages from afar. silent and relaxing. 4. night camp in Calayo Batangas (June 2008) - we played pusoy dos the whole night and ended around 4:00am while others enjoyed the karaoke. the next day, we were still in high energy and did kayak the rest of the day. 5. night camp in Capones island (July 2008) - we were ten in the group. shared something about ourself. ended sleeping around 9:00am, which is the earliest time to end a night camp, because it started to rain. but we woke up 12 in the midnight and continued our conversation till 3:00am. imagine seeing people building sand castle around 2:00am others were playing cards while the rest are having some conversations.these are just some of the recent memorable night camps. maybe you want to share your night camp experience too. all photos here were taken from Capones night camp.

That's true, night camp is certainly very good for friendship.
Making karaoke there must be very nice and amusing: I should like that experience.

nakakainggit! sarap magspend time sa beach watching the stars and just stare at the bonfire... hey, just let me know if you want to meet up ha? paturo rin sana ako about the basics of photography... eto at nagreresearch pa ako ng pwede mabasa about it. my dslr is here just sitting on a chair beside me...

>islander, ayos yan! kaya lang wag naman mag isa. hirap non walang kausap. hehehe... thanks!

>luke, thanks!

>pietro, hahaha... yes. it's really fun. but rarely sing with karaoke. im not really good at singing.

ang ganda naman ng nighscape header mo. i wish girls bond in camps, too. nowadays, my girlfriends bond in spas or in salons.:D i went camping a few times in my life...medyo masakit sa likod but it was a fun experience.

sayang dong. wala tayo dala marshmallows at hotdogs.

what the exact date ng punta mo sa bcd?

>raft3r, then it's time for you to try doing it again. as i always suggest, sama ka sa mga climbers.

>stanley, no we didn't. that's something that we didn't thought of doing. maybe next time.

thanks!

>hi eastcoastlife, really? maybe try to camp with the whole family. i think it's a good time to bond.

>hi lalaine, kakamiss nga din post mo.

escape said...

>photo cache, salamat!

>lei, saya talaga pag kasama ang barkada.

>dakilang islander, you're back! oo nagkita kami kasi mahilig syang bumyahe kaya naisip kong imbitahan sa pagpunta namin sa capones.

>bw, no. i don't have tripod. kaya challenging talaga ang pagkuha. bibili rin ako in the future.

Nothing beats the serenity at night. I used to go camping into virgin forests so often in the past, in my college days. And now that you mention night camping, I truly missed those days.

I love night camps. The best memories I had were from by Boy Scout and ROTC days. Everyone always had fun talking and laughing around a camp fire. Cool evenings also help make for a very comfortable scene. :)
