el playa de capones

the island of Capones has several beach sites around its coast. looking at the map that i made, you'll notice that the longest beach line are the ones of Adelante and Limpyo on one side then Huego and Maryada on the other side. the names given to the parts of the island in this map are unofficial, these are completely made by dong to make it easier to describe and locate the areas around the island. the beaches here offers many options to the beach bums. the side connecting Adelante and Piedra One are parts where rocks the reef line. these are sites for snorkeling since the water is calmer here.Huego and Maryada beach offers waves coming from the South China Sea. although Maryada beach has big waves, i don't recommend surfing in that area because of huge rocks on some parts of its shoreline. Huego beach will definitely be the best option for surfers, it has a wider beach line. this is one of the best option for beach activities.for those who simply love to swim and snorkel, Adelante beach will be perfect for you. our camp site is between Adelante and Limpyo beach line.but i consider Limpyo beach as the best part of the island. this is the best beach site in the island. you'll also have a scenic view of Mt. Anawangin while swimming and enjoying the waves in Limpyo beach line.i highly recommend you to visit this island, as it offers many options whether you're a beach lover or someone who enjoys scenic natural landscape. although a day trip is possible, an overnight will complete your great island experience in Capones.thanks to Lingkod Alabang bros for the camaraderie. Ang Lingkod ng Panginoon is a Catholic community for single professionals. our group belongs to Lingkod Alabang branch.to Lawstude, thank you for joining the thrill of crossing huge waves (under Igme's control) and for being part of this island escapade. since you dedicated one post for us, we then dedicate this post to you. your presence really added fun to the group. till the next trip.

kahit may bagyo bro ok yung trip kasi mas naging exciting.

@ redlan - i won't mind being the official photographer kasi ok mga kasama eh. great company in equally great place, what more could you ask for.

Friendship Day request :

I bought one new blog with my friend. So i am kindly requesting you to add Two to blog into your blogroll and visit that blog frequently. That blog will contain entertainment features and stuffs. Looking forward for your cooperation even in that blog too. Thank you friend...

>gibo, no one tried it. we were the only ones in the island during that time.

>lawstude, hahaha... syempre yung last yung the best kaya save the best for last.

>selerines, thanks! ok i'll check it out.

the donG said...

>hi alicesg, we really had great time in capones. bonfire, hiking while others enjoyed swimming. some parts of the island are not that clean anymore because of trash but the water is clean.

>erick, saan banda kaya yon? check mo yung map kung saan banda yon.

>luke, thanks!

>huay mei, yes. there was a typhoon when we were there.

happy friendship day!!!

>hi isabetlog, i think you can visit the island during september as long as there's no typhoon.

>stanley, thanks! this is a vacation trip compared to the other trips which were side trips to some other agenda.

Water sports would be great on those choppy waters, though dangerous...

Careful with the camera so near that water! :P

the donG said...

>dazed blu, thanks for dropping by!

the donG said...

>phivos, thanks!

>hi sandy, im starting to love the waves as i plan to learnsurfing this year.

>pietro, there was a typhoon coming in during that time. we actually experienced rough waters when we were traveling in and out of the island. but the island is really beautiful that no typhoon stopped us from going to the island.

>photo cache, i hope i can do that. sadly, im on break as rainy season is at its peak. im shifting the blog's theme to something. but don't worry i'll feature beaches in the coming months again.

>bw, yes lawstude joined us. some part of the beach is not that unspoiled because more and more people are camping here but the water remains good.

>hi equi, okay. we'll invite you in time.

>hi shionge, cool! hehehe... i hope you'll be able to have some trips like these in the future.

i miss capones and i have yet to camp out there for the night. medyo risky lang nga these days kasi malaki na ang alon at mataas ang tubig. but grey skies and all, masaya pa rin ang lakad niyo :-)

acey said...

kuya dong, those are really nice pictures! very dramatic ang colors. :D

the donG said...

>tink, thanks a lot!

>acey, thanks! the island itself is really beautiful.

I never thought ganito pala ka-extensive blog article mo about Capones. We should go back there one time and try staying overnight.

Wow, I guess if I am not mustaken you have been to Dinggalan Aurora.?
Galing kami don like 2 years ago. Diko pa napatransfer yung video namin then the photo we got from the celphone was corrupted pa. But the memory is great.

Anyways, i will make an entry in my blog one time pag napatransfer ko na video. Nasa tape pa kasi.
