the great escape

just minutes to the great escape from the urban Manila. excitement was at its peak as we were about to see what's behind those coconuts. the beach horizon comes to sight. a perfect view, white fine sand, the sea so calm, crystal clear water, coconuts line-up for shade, and a private atmosphere summed up our first encounter of this part of the island. more adventures to come within this island. the great escape was actually an advance celebration of my special day which is today. because the best gift next to having good relationships and a powerful Creator, is a trip to a place that i've been addicted to ever since i was a child. the beach.having to choose Bantayan island was perfect!so don't ask what we did right after taking this shots.

here's a map to help us track the great escape.

As promised bragging ako sa hubby about your escapade. You're photos are really making me priority sway in diff direction.
Meaning my plans of going back there.Just feel guilty to be along going there.
I would really want hubby to see more there(Phil).& this place will be on my list.I also hope it will not be like Boracay.
I'll be waiting sa next post.

the donG said...

>luke, it will surely be a great escape!

>ely, thank you! bantayan island is part of the cebu province. it is located north west of cebu. you can check the previous post to see the map.

>pietro, thank you very much.

>tink, no problem. just keep in touch as more photos will be posted.

>hi maya, hahaha... im glad that at least this helps you decide where to go. dami pang ganito sa pilipinas. sa cebu pa lang, there's malapascua and camotes. sa luzon, if you want virgin islands, there's caramoan and calaguas. and marami pang hindi popular na islands na nabisita ko. but if you want both the beach and snorkeling, plus an almost prviate experience... that would be bantayan. you'll know more about the island in the coming days. ill share some snorkeling photos which will surely convince you even more.

thanks for sharing. i apprecaite your comment.
