exploring ogtong

it was now time to explore another resort which is known for something unique. this is Ogtong Beach Resort. just a short motorcycle ride from Sugar Beach Resort. this resort offers nice cabanas, a big swimming pool and a nice landscape. part of its beach side is composed rocks which sets a different landscape from the beach stretch along the Sta. Fe shoreline. we spent some time in the swimming pool which has a 10feet-deep portion. this resort also offers kayaking which is one of my favorite activities here. we went kayaking for an hour to get a view of the resort from afar. this resort is famous here for its underground natural cave located below its rocky ground near the swimming pool. people really visit this resort because of the cave. people spend a lot of time swimming inside the cave because it is well lit and the water is clear and not chlorinated. i took this shot, late in the afternoon when there were less people, to be able to get a shot of a calm water. i recommend that you visit this resort because it offers a range of services but is expensive compared to other resorts within Sta. Fe.

escape said...

>hi sabrina, thanks! but you'll be more inspired when you get to visit blogs of professional photographers. but i'm glad that you are inspired by such simple point and shoot shots. i also visited your blog and you have a really really good potential to be a successful graphic artist.

>bw, thanks! having this cave inside the resort makes it very popular in the island.

wow, the water in the cave is so clear. di ba mahirap magpunta jan? bakit parang walang naliligo?

great sets of pics again dong.

escape said...

>lawstude, hindi mahirap puntahan kasi kung nakikita mo yung pool sa photos, dyan din lang sa side ang entrance papunta sa cave.

walang tao kasi medyo late afternoon ko na kinuha yang shot kasi laging puno ng tao itong cave. hinintay ko munang umalis ang mga tao para makuha ang kalmadong tubig ng cave.

salamat!

What a great place for a vacation. I won't only get to enjoy such a fine beach, I also get to do some cave exploring - it doesn't get much better than that.

After seeing these pictures, I just got a strong urge to go visit the place myself. It seems to have everything I could ever ask for - stunning beach, amazing pool, a cave to explore, and even kayaks.
