allow me to orient you first some basic information about the island. Bantayan island is composed of three municipalities namely Sta. Fe, Madridejos and its capital Bantayan. the main port is located in Sta Fe. The main town area which includes the church is in Bantayan. There are several islands that belong to Bantayan. Among the famous islands are Virgin Island (sometimes called Silion island) and Hilantaga-an. The main dialect here is Cebuano or Bisaya but people can understand Tagalog and English. in the coming posts we will be using this map to show the areas that we've visited. which includes the island hopping and snorkeling.
i added a map to my previous post to show the location of the pier and the Sugar Beach Resort. i hope this will help you navigate as you visit Bantayan island in the future.
