we are under construction

building constructions are one of my favorite subject for photos because i get to see these buildings in this form for just a short time. after its construction, we get to see its best form.very similar to life. while we are here on earth, we are simply being formed and molded to become something we were really meant to be. something better. something more valuable.

Night lighting at construction sites always makes them look furtive and important and pressing. This is a lovely metaphor as you've captured it.

hi sandy, thanks!

jasper, right. i hope you already found the right one.

ifoundme, maraming salamat! sadly i'm not the right person to answer that. i use an old sony dsc p-150 camera but im planning to buy a dslr soon. i might get an olympus e-510 as suggested by lagalog. i can refer you to lagalog or ironwulf on this (just check the links).

dave, exactly.

hi pinay jade, no plans yet but surely i'll visit that place. i'll keep in touch when you'll be back.

hi arlene, very well said.

redlan, thanks. natawa naman ako sa comment mo sa huli.

yihaa doc rio! dyan talaga ako sa yo bilib. hahaha...

bw, yes. because they also find it easier to work at night because there's less heat. but i think there's a shifting system.

wancom, yes. it makes sense. real character is seen in the midst of adversity.

well said.. truely we're all under construction and it's not just a overnight job, it takes time to build something.. but at the end, is worth waiting for.

I see so many construction going on. A great sign of development.

I like your analogy. Life continues to change and develop through the times.

hi, kuya donG!

somehow, i agree with you about us, about people... that we're constantly under construction.

my hope is that we all turn into a beautiful, sturdy building in the end. =D

me mangyan, i definitely agree. it is really worth waiting because we value more the things which we've really worked hard to accomplish.

hi rachel, thanks. i'm happy that you also believe in the same thing.

hi maya, i like that. the light indeed gives us the urge to see it when it's done.

ifoundme, hindi naman. in fact they are friendly but i suggest that you really meet them. the dslr that you will be buying will also depend on your budget and your purpose. at least naka w-series ka na sa point and shoot camera. hehehe...

l.reis, exactly. we have so much to improve to be what we are meant to be.

acey, we hope for the same thing and i agree with you. it shouldn't only look good but sturdy as well. thanks for dropping by.

agree ako dyan dom. all our lives naman, we're still under construction and the Creator continues to shape and polish us. kung baga ba eh, work in progress. i have myself as an example :-) at my age, i thought i had plateaued but i'm discovering He has other places to take me to :-D

Great shot and I like the way you compared a building under construction to human life. Interesting.

hi sandy, thanks! im glad you like it.

oggie, you're right. as long as we're alive, we can never tell what God has in store for us.

carver, thank you. analogy can be very useful in our life.

There's lots of construction going around me and it's no fun having to live with the noise and dust! Not forgetting to mention the construction workers trying to woo the housemaids in the neighbourhood. :(

Nice insight. It always gives me great comfort that I'm a work in progress especially when I make mistakes and I realize that I'm not perfect. Not yet.

escape said...

ifoundme, hehehe... parang ok naman yata yung model na yan. not sure kasi hindi pa rin ako ganun ka marunong sa technical side ng camera. ok naman yung bisaya naintindihan ko naman. hehehe... dili tu sila mu suko.

hi eastcoastlife, that surely is annoying and the courting thing... hahaha...

ia, it really helps coz sometimes we value so much of the world and not of the real thing.
