today we celebrate "Labor Day" in recognition of all the hard working people serving not for themselves but also for the benefit of others and for their country."Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people." - Colossians 3:23
donG hO's "in motion" - is a series of photos taken in one place.
i must say, indeed my highest respect and gratitude to them.
I must confess that today I don't feel like a working person :):) Nice tribute to all the working people...we deserve it :) I did like your photo documentary. Nice work!
whew! dude, it's hard keeping up with you. haha! like i said, you are such a prolific, uber sensible blogger. this one is for the books again--relevant drama for an international holiday. i couldn't have said (showed) it any better.
man, what do we have -- regular bloggers --- to deserve you? :D
Kawawa nga sila - nakabilad sa init, pag umulan mababasa din. yung katawan nila masyadong exposed sa elements. included dapat sila sa modern day heroes natin.
nice shot by the way! looking forward to your next nightscapes..
barry, maraming salamat! these are but simple shots of people who work day and night. working that they may serve others.
every blogger is unique and as i've been doing bloghopping lately, i've seen really good posts from every blogger. as much as we value every blog, we learn to value the blogger as well.
sandy, i just visited your blog. you've really got some good set of posts. it really showed that you've recovered from the problem on uploading those photos.
arlene, i agree. they are our modern heroes. they live to survive while others live to enjoy. thank you for appreciating the nightscape series. keep in touch.
Brilliant photos...and we should all consider those who work at night and do all the things we take for granted and never consider. My sister nursed the sick in a hospital for 28 years at night. She always said,'I never see the much of the sun...but the moon is mine' Imagine doing nightshift nursing for 28 years...

Great tribute to these people. Love the photos. Are they taken at night?
hi maya, thanks. yes. the photos were taken at night. most of the posts for the nightscape tribute will feature photos taken at night.
i must say, indeed my highest respect and gratitude to them.

I'm not sure that I'd want to be sleeping with someone outside going hard with a jackhammer all night!

jericho, at your own risk. hahaha... just kidding. sure kung hindi mo naman sya gagamitin para sa public use. kung may acknowledgment naman ok lang.

i used to think that labor day is for pregnant woman only. (just kidding).
we usually associate labor with the work force so to all the working class (like u and i), this is our day.
have a nice day dong.

I came back to let you know I have an award for you on my blog.
While a lot of us were enjoying the public holiday yesterday workers like them are still toiling away at work.
A day we all give thanks to all working. Be it for the country, for own, for money, for family, for food, for life :)
Have a good weekend Dong! :)
Happy Labor Day! Your photos are a wonderful tribute to people who work hard day and night.

That is a great series of photos! You've made a dirty job into art. The work lights creat a wonderful lighting effect.
