for this post allow me to honor all the mothers in the world and since i'm featuring nightscape for the month of may, i would specifically like to dedicate this post to this woman.

this is manang Nina or short for Antonina, a 55year old sidewalk vendor. she sells candies, coffee and other sidewalk items from 9:00pm till 6:00am because they are only allowed to occupy this area between this time.

happy mother's day!

Mother's Day has not arrived on our coast yet. It is now evening, and I am enjoying the sounds of many crickets while I check out my blogging friends before going to bed. Nice tribute to your mother and this special street vendor. Be sure to tell your mother how much you love her on this, her special day!...hugs to you...

Just discovered your blog yesterday thru KrisJasper's. And i find it cool that I browsed it backward. You love to feature mga ordinaryong tao at places pero napakahalaga ng purpose. Keep it up and Goodluck palagi sa journey mo.
I love the photos most!
i recalled my barkada nights in Bacolod and how much support I got from my mom. You're right, our moms are supportive of us that they also embrace our friends.
What a wonderful tribute! It sounds like your mom did a wonderful job raising you!! ;)
That is a beautiful tribute. Your mother sounds like a rich blessing, to be sure. And the street vendor....So much goodness in the world. Thanks for lifting it up.
That's a real sweet mom's tribute you've done. Your mom is one great lady, you're lucky to have such a wonderful and loving mom.
redlan, thank you very much. im happy that the stories of the ordinary people helps you learn to value what seems to be small in the human eye. i value the people and their experience and above all our creator.

Belated Happy Mother's Day to your mom.
This is a wonderful post. She seems very hardworking. I admire her love for her family.
wow you know so much about her...
there's this lady vendor just outside the gates of our school, she's very nice to all the students. she's quite a character... kc this lady sidewalk vendor is always wearing makeup and had her hair straightened or relaxed! ive always wondered why... maybe next time i should talk to her n find out hehe
quintarantino, thank you.
hi rachel, thanks. yes she is. she chose to serve her family more than just earning bigger.
odin, that sounds funny but true. she seems to be updated with the trend. hahaha...
Beautiful tribute to all mothers and especially to the street vendor. A truly wonderful mother and wife.
Wow, she's my namesake. She's the only namesake I know outside of my family (Antonina is a popular name in my family because it's my lola's name). More common are Antonia or Antonette.
I really admire these women who are hardworking and diligent and dedicated. And they never give up no matter what life throws at them.
apologies...
been very busy lately.. physically,
mentally,
socially,
emotionally...
but I'd like to thank you for always visiting my site.
hi pinay jade, thanks.
hi toe, i agree. this women can love and be strong at the same time. i admire such courage. it's nice to know that antonina in your family is popular. in our family, there's no common name.
jasper, no problem. your trip is fast approaching. makakapagpahinga ka na din.
Bonjour,
