gas price soaring

gasoline and diesel prices goes up again today. from P41.98 to P42.98 per liter or nearly $1 per liter in the Philippines. i suggest that you commute when traveling. usually a regular car can occupy 5people while a bus can occupy about 50people. imagine how much gas we can save from commuting.we can even save more if we take the rail transit but again not all roads have these and you often end up standing while traveling. you can as well arrange carpool with your relatives, friends and neighbors when going to the office.

biking and jogging is recommended early morning or late afternoon
for short distance traveling. we not only save money because we are at the same time emitting almost zero pollution.

I have given up my car a long time ago to take the bus. Buses are air-con, safe and very comfortable in Singapore.

I don't know about the Filipino durians but certain species of durians from Malaysia are very delicious. try them when you have a chance. :)

dra. rio, wala tayong magawa as for now kasi world market ang affected but there's an on going proposals from the energy oil regulation summit. kaya lang, kelan pa kaya implementation non?

eastcoastlife, that's good. i admire you on that.

durians here also taste good. there's a place in the southern part of the philippines that offers tasty durian. but not everyone likes durian here.

What a great photo!! I love the lights and the motion.

The trains and commuter rails go just about anywhere around here.

karen, train helps a lot but sometimes there's too many people that allows a lot of discomfort for passengers. good that you have enough train to travel around the city.

hi gizelle, yes. i usually have a theme for every month. this month's theme is "nightscape".

here in manila, the manure are collected through a bag so no manure's are allowed to fall or else they will be charged for poopoo violation (that's something new). in the village that im staying, they have the same rule for dogs. "the poopoo ng aso mo, pulutin mo". hahaha... good we don't have dogs yet as of this moment.

dave, that's good. walking helps a lot. i wonder how far your school is from your home.

that must have been a traumatic horse riding experience but maybe it rarely happens. not sure though.

hi tutubi, yes i agree. they don't have a good system for mrt on peak hours. i don't know why.

tataas na lahat wag lang sana ang blood pressure. hahaha... kawawa naman ang mga tao. pero sa mga nangyayari ngayon malamang tatatas ng talaga. nandyan pa ang init.

bw, really? but an increase always disturbs a lot of business and transportation concerns. i think there's a rally this monday against the rising prices.

hi rebecca, that's good. you gain friends while you save money and save our planet.
