blooming la mesa

random shots taken days back of what La Mesa Eco Park and Watershed can boast. this park is now a haven for many plant species displaying a balance of nature and park life. this park is protected by the Bantay Kalikasan group along with the government's Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).now we have a place to see the different plants having blooming flowers within its 2,700hectares area of forest and water reservoir.how can we help? as simple as visiting this park, we are already helping in its program to maintain its call to protect nature.let's hope that more and more cities will have its own eco park.

dave, very few indeed coz i'm not a fond of taking photos of flowers but when i was at the La Mesa Ecopark, I can't go home without taking photos of these flowers even the banana blossom or banana heart as it is popularly called.

lalaine, refreshing indeed. thanks.

hi gizelle, it is located north part of Quezon City. if you'll try to search for a map in the web, you won't find one that's detailed. the road that will lead you there is Commonwealth avenue and you'll enter East Fairview village and from there, you'll see signs (not that visible) and ask the people within the village.
